Pablo Mejía is a filmmaker who’s voice is inspired by character-driven stories from underrepresented communities. The child of two immigrants from rural Mexico, his visual tone seeks to invoke a sense of nostalgia whilst inspired by contemporary cinema. His latest film Lejanía, tells the story of liberation of a young migrant woman and is being exhibited at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
