I See You grants us the privilege to witness the world through Joe Robles IV’s eyes. He has been searching for stories about the Latine community that have shaped the gulf coast for hundreds of years. The only thing he could find were stories written by the eyes of those who deemed the Latine race “inferior.” Every one of Joe’s frames is a statement, demanding his community’s stories, culture and history be cemented on more than just celluloid but engraved in the memories of those he is photographing. I See You is an ode to those we photograph and to feel what it's like to be with Joe as he documents the streets of Pasadena TX.
